Fête Booking Policies

A quick overview of the policies that apply to Fête bookings. Your signed Event Decoration Services Agreement and invoice contain the complete terms for your event.

1. Minimum Investments

• On-Site Installation: $250

• All On-Site Balloon Installations carry an install + teardown fee.

• Delivery Only: $150

• Grab & Go Pickup: $120

• Minimums are before delivery/retrieval fees, applicable fees, and taxes, as applicable.

• Large or complex installations may have additional installation or strike fees.

• Delivery fees are based on mileage.

• Promotions and sale pricing do not count toward minimum spend unless stated.
   

2. Booking & Payment

• A 50% non-refundable retainer secures your date and service window.

• Final payment is due 7 days before your event.

• Late payments: $50 fee per occurrence.

• Booked within 7 days? Full payment is due upfront and rush fees may apply.

• Fête does not provide services without full payment.
   

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Rescheduling

• Minimum 2 weeks' notice.

• Subject to date availability.

• Must remain within the original décor scope and occur within 12 months of the original event.

Cancellations

• More than 14 days out: Payments beyond the retainer are refundable.

• 14–3 days out: All payments are non-refundable.

• 2 days or less: Full event total is non-refundable.
   

4. Delivery, Installation & Retrieval

• On-Site & Delivery Only: 15-minute arrival window.

• Grab & Go: 1-hour pickup window.

• Late-night retrieval:

  • $100: 9:00 PM–11:59 PM

  • $200: 12:00 AM–2:00 AM

• Stand-alone floral walls: No late-night retrieval fee through 11:00 PM.

• Event runs past scheduled retrieval? Fête may charge 10% of the On-Site décor total per hour.

• Next-day retrieval may be available at Fête's discretion.
   

5. Changes & Additions

• Confirmed bookings cannot be reduced in scope.

• Additions are subject to availability and additional fees.

• Changes within 14 days may incur rush fees or may not be possible.

• Approved changes are documented through an updated or new invoice.
   

6. Rentals & Décor Care

• Fête-owned rentals remain the property of Fête.

• Rental items may not be moved, altered, or misused.

• Client is responsible for loss, theft, or damage to rental equipment.

• Responsibility for décor transfers:

  • On-Site: After installation until Fête returns for scheduled retrieval.

  • Delivery Only: Upon delivery.

  • Grab & Go: Upon pickup.

• Balloons are sensitive to temperature, sunlight, weather, and handling. Popping, deflation, oxidation, and other environmental effects cannot be guaranteed against after responsibility transfers.
   

7. Outdoor & Safety

• Outdoor décor should be placed in shaded areas whenever possible.

• Client must monitor outdoor décor and take appropriate action during winds over 10 mph, heavy rain, hail, or other hazardous conditions.

• If décor becomes unstable or hazardous, prioritize the safety of people, animals, property, and the décor, then contact Fête as soon as reasonably possible.

• Client is responsible for promptly addressing hazards or debris associated with the décor.
   

8. Design & Photography

• Fête may photograph completed work for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing unless declined in writing before the event.

• Custom Fête designs may not be copied or recreated without permission.

• Clients are welcome to share event photos and are encouraged to credit/tag Fête.
